Oklahoma resident and AVA senior, Alyssa Lamb, has a strong passion for dancing which AVA’s flexibility has helped her nourish. While other seniors may be stressing about juggling academics and personal passions, Alyssa is able to have the best of both worlds.

Freedom to Dance and Structure to Learn
The Oklahoma City Ballet School’s Pre-Professional Day Program is an intensive full-time training program for aspiring professional ballet dancers. AVA ensures that Alyssa doesn’t have to choose between her passion and her education.

AVA recognizes that learning happens everywhere, not just within a textbook or inside the four walls of a classroom. AVA’s NCAA and NAIA approved, and Cognia accredited, curriculum may be integrated with each student’s passions and life experiences. For example, Alyssa’s rigorous dance training may be counted for Physical Education credits.
