Kyra began training with Houston Ballet at age 12, and her talent quickly caught the attention of national dance programs. Eventually, she joined the ABT Studio Company in New York City—the junior division of American Ballet Theatre.
Managing a full-time rehearsal and travel schedule made traditional high school nearly impossible. That’s when Kyra enrolled in American Virtual Academy, an online high school for flexible learning.
